Shamir performs three tracks acoustically in La Blogothèque session
‘Take Away Show’ features renditions of tracks from ‘Ratchet’ and ‘Northtown’
Shamir recently recorded a session for La Blogothèque, performing three tracks acoustically as part of the site’s ‘Take Away Show’ series.
Walking around Brooklyn, the acoustic session sees Shamir perform ‘I’ll Never Be Able To Love Again’ from his ‘Northtown’ EP, as well as ‘Demon’ and ‘In For The Kill’, from his debut album ‘Ratchet’. The latest La Blogothèque was shot on location by Derrick Belcham.
This week, Shamir released his debut album ‘Ratchet’ on XL, and performs at London’s XOYO this evening. Read DIY’s recent interview with Shamir here, taken from the May 2015 edition of DIY.
