Sigrid swaps perspectives in peppy new single ‘Two Years’
“It was trying to see the situation from another person’s point of view,” she’s shared.

Ahead of the arrival of her third studio album, ‘There’s Always More That I Could Say’ (out on 24th October via Island / EMI), Sigrid has offered up new track ‘Two Years’ - a bright, bouncing number that sees her experiment with lyrically shifting from first to second person.
“It was trying to see the situation from another person’s point of view,” the Scandi pop sensation has said of the choice, “and in that way I could also reflect on my own perspective.”
Written in Tokyo with her frequent creative counterpart Askjell, ‘Two Years’ follows ‘Fort Knox’ and ‘Jellyfish’ to be the new album’s third single - a trio which together reflects the range of emotion, from adoration to heartbreak, contained within ‘There’s Always More That I Could Say’.
