Sophie Ellis-Bextor dazzles on dancefloor-ready cut ‘Relentless Love’
It’s the kitchen disco queen’s first new music of 2025.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is back with ‘Relentless Love’ - another irresistibly danceable slice of disco-pop that acts as a follow up to last year’s glittering comeback track ‘Freedom Of The Night’.
For this latest number, Sophie joined forces with a crack team of pop powerhouses behind the scenes: writing and production credits come courtesy of Karma Kid (Rudimental, Shygirl), Baz Kaye (Jessie Ware, The Blessed Madonna) and JinJin (Raye), while David Wrench (Jamie XX, Hot Chip) was the man behind the mixing desk.
“‘Relentless Love’ came from my love of fun fairs and the way that falling in love and going on a ride can be a similar thrill,” Sophie has shared, speaking about the new track. “Ferris wheels, roller coasters… all of them can make your perception of reality a little wonky and give you a rush. They are sometimes unpredictable but also an exciting way to shift your perspective for a little minute. There’s definitely a romance in getting on a ride together and seeing where it will take you.”
Grab your candyfloss and experience all the fun of the fair for yourself below.
