Spector reveal new track ‘All The Sad Young Men’

The band are due to release their sophomore album later this year.

Having already whet our appetites with their pre-Christmas present, which came in the form of the Dev Hynes-produced ‘Don’t Make Me Try’, Spector have returned with another new offering.

The band, who released their wonderfully tongue-in-cheek debut ‘Enjoy It While It Lasts’ back in 2012, will release their new single ‘All The Sad Young Men’ on 23rd March.

Debuted earlier this evening on Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record in the World, their latest ditty sees them refine their previous sound, with extra hints of electro and synths highlighting the darkly comedic nature of frontman Fred Macpherson’s lyrics.

Another taste from their second album, which is anticipated for release later this year, the track was produced by Duncan Mills, with writing credits going to MacPherson and Jed Cullen.

The band have also announced plans to play a special one-off show in London next month, at The Lexington. Tickets will go on sale this Friday (6th February) at 9am.
