Sundara Karma share ‘Illusions’ video

The fancy new clip is directed by the band’s own Oscar Pollock.

Sundara Karma returned last week with new single ‘Illusions’, and the track’s now got its own video!

The fancy new clip is directed by frontman Oscar Pollock and sees the band in some sort of hazy Halloween-ish wonderland, with Oscar himself portrayed as some mystical queen.

“The song is a groovy slow pumper, our best effort ever at being both sensual and enlightening,” Oscar says of the track. “In times of horror and uncertainty we need love and positivity and the ability to recognise that everything around us is temporary. I like to think we are not separate from one another, every single thing we do affects the people and the world around us. From macro to micro - from our inner world to the outer world. Easier said than done and much easier sung than said.”

The band are set to preview music from their upcoming second album(!) at a small London show next week. The band will take to Omeara on 24th October.

We spoke to the band at RAK Studios as they’re hard at work on LP2. Read that chat here and watch the ‘Illusions’ video below.
