Sundara Karma to release live favourite ‘Olympia’ on new EP

It’s a nice little treat to tide us over while we wait for that debut of theirs.

Sundara Karma to release live favourite 'Olympia' on new EP

So, it turns out Sundara Karma like releasing new music almost as much as hoarding floaty floral shirts. Having already announced their debut album ‘Youth Is Only Ever Fun In Retrospect’ (out on January 6th via RCA / Chess Club Records) they’ve only gone and sorted an EP to tide us over while we wait!

Sundara Karma’s new EP is called ‘Loveblood,’ and comes out on 4th November. The only stinker is that it’s an American only release (boo hiss!).

As well as collecting together established favourites like ‘She Said’ and ‘The Night,’ it’ll also include a new song called ‘Olympia’ - a Springsteen-indebted number they aired at Reading earlier this summer.

Speaking about ‘Loveblood’s title track, lead singer Oscar Pollock got a bit niche, tbh. “It’s inspired by Oscar Wilde’s short story ‘Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime,’” he said. Right. We definitely know the one.

“The story is a mystery about the unexplainable, and that theme has a huge inspiration in our music,” he added, more helpfully.

Listen to the track in question below.
