When The Avalanches updated their social media presence yesterday (11th April), the Internet went into meltdown at the prospect of a new album and reunion shows.And here we are. The band have announced three shows this summer, including a slot at London’s Field Day (so yesterday’s teaser image was a clue!).The Australian band, who released their last album, ‘Since I Left You’, in 2000, will also play Barcelona’s Primavera Sound - a fact we denied a while ago, due to a fake poster - and Splendour In The Grass in Byron Bay, Australia.No info has been revealed regarding new material, but this is enough to get excited about for now, right?View The Avalanches’ new tour dates below, and revisit the video for ‘Since I Left You”s title track, below.JUNE02-04 Barcelona, Primavera Sound
