The Avalanches get animated in new video for ‘Subways’
The track’s taken from the long-awaited ‘Wildflower’.
‘Subways’ is a highlight of The Avalanches’ excellent comeback album ‘Wildflower’, and the track now has a new animated video.
The new clip sees cartoon characters taking a trip around the New York subway system, and was created by French animators Mrzyk & Moriceau.
The Avalanches returned with ‘Wildflower’ this summer after sixteen(!) years away, playing DJ sets at the likes of Field Day, Primavera Sound and Wild Life. Live shows have since come in their home country, and they’re expected to bring the full show back to Europe soon.
