Brighton’s yearly buzzageddon begins this Thursday - hear a playlist of today’s highlights.

Brighton’s new music weekender The Great Escape kicks off today.
Highlights come from Las Vegas future-superstar Shamir and Liverpool newcomer Låpsley. Both acts play XL Recordings’ showcase at Coalition. Tonight also hosts performances from DIY favourites Happyness and post-Late of the Pier project LA Priest.
Everything begins earlier in the day with the likes of Aldous Harding, Fraser A Gorman and Thomston making appearances - we premiered the latter’s ‘Expiry Date’ earlier this week.
DIY will be bringing you reports from day one as soon as we have them - keep track via our Great Escape 2015 tag. You can follow the action via our Twitter and Instagram pages, too.
If you’re stuck in a city that doesn’t happen to be Brighton, hear a selection of today’s best acts in a handy Spotify playlist, below.
