The Haxan Cloak remixes Foals’ ‘What Went Down’
Bobby Krlic takes the monster track and covers it in darkness.
The Haxan Cloak has taken Foals’ recent track ‘What Went Down’ and turned it into a restless, disturbing number with a new remix.
The title track from the Oxford band’s forthcoming fourth LP, out later this month, is taken into a completely different realm through Bobby Krlic’s manipulation, and Yannis Philippakis’ growl is the only real feature of the original track that remains, and one that becomes even stronger when backed by industrial synths.
‘What Went Down’ is released on 28th August. Read why we are excited about the album here, and listen to The Haxan Cloak’s remix of the title track below.
