The Twilight Sad announce ‘Òran Mór Session’ album, share ‘It Never Was the Same’ video
New release is coming out on FatCat Records this October.
Last year, Scots The Twilight Sad took home in Glasgow’s Òran Mór auditorium to perform a secluded, extended session made up of songs from their 2014 album ‘Nobody Wants To Be Here and Nobody Wants To leave’.
More subdued, open-ended versions of songs from that LP have been put together for a new release, appropriately titled ‘Òran Mór Session’. It’s coming out 16th October on FatCat Records, bringing together album cuts with b-sides and a cover of Arthur Russell’s ‘I Couldn’t Say It To Your Face’.
Below, we’ve got the first play of ‘It Never Was the Same’ being performed in the auditorium, filmed in suitably gloomy black-and-white.
