New wave?
The White Stripes and Daft Punk sign up for TIDAL exclusives
Service also boasts playlists from Jay Z, Beyoncé and Coldplay.
As part of its big relaunch, TIDAL - Jay Z’s artist-owned high quality music streaming service - has unveiled exclusives from the likes of The White Stripes and Daft Punk.
The White Stripes’ first ever televised performance is part of the new package, available to initial subscribers. There’s also Daft Punk’s 2006 film ‘Electroma’ and exclusive curated playlists from TIDAL investors Arcade Fire, Jay Z, Coldplay and Beyoncé.
Last night saw TIDAL being relaunched with a glitzy, star-studded and altogether surreal ceremony, live- streamed online. Every investor signed a piece of paper, but we’ve no idea what’s actually on that piece of paper, and nobody involved in the relaunch seems to have a full grasp of what’s being offered.
