Toro Y Moi is the latest musician to add to the anti-Trump musical canon
‘Omaha’ is the newest contribution to ‘Our First 100 Days’.
South Carolina’s Toro Y Moi has become the latest artist to contribute to the anti-Trump initiative ‘Our First 100 Days’.
As part of the musical protest, a new song will be released every day for the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency (including offerings from Angel Olsen, PWR BTTM, Meat Wave and more) with all proceeds going to support causes threatened by the presidential Wotsit’s new policies.
Basically it’s a Very Good Thing.
Toro Y Moi’s contribution is entitled ‘Omaha’ and features a repeated line of “you’ve got to set your mind free”. No prizes for guessing who he’s aiming that one at.
Listen to the track below and head to Our First 100 Days to donate.
