Calgary post punk force Viet Cong begin the year by releasing their self-titled debut album via Jagjaguwar, 19th January.
Today they’re sharing the latest track to be lifted from the release. ‘Silhouettes’ is a new wave-nodding, piano chiming blast into the past, again giving nods to the project best associated with Viet Cong - Women. A heady mid-section gives nods to previous lives, but ‘Silhouettes’ is all about creating shapes for the future.
The track links up with ‘Continental Shelf’ in previewing the LP. Listen below upcoming tour dates. They play a run of UK shows next February:
FEBRUARY
05 Manchester, Deaf Institute
06 Glasgow, Broadcast
07 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
