Warpaint mess around in the Big Apple for their ‘New Song’ video

Next Friday (23rd September), Warpaint release their much-anticipated new album ‘Heads Up’ and, according to Emily Kokal, it’s all about “capturing a moment, and capturing creative energy.” Well, they’ve definitely done that with their self-shot, super low-budget new video for oddball-pop banger ‘New Song’.

The clip sees the band dancing and lip-syncing their way around New York and just being a bit daft. Swinging off lampposts, juggling fruit at the greengrocer’s, eating pizza, watching the sunrise… Does anybody else really wish they could be part of their girl gang right now? One of the band does show off her PIN number mind. Wouldn’t really recommend that one.
