Watch Sophie and QT’s mind-bending LA Boiler Room sets
Hudson Mohawke curated the event that took place last August.
Back on 22nd August, LuckyMe and Hudson Mohawke helped put together a special Boiler Room set in LA, in celebration of the latter’s forthcoming ‘Chimes’ EP.
Highlights of the event were two visually and audibly mind-bending sets from Sophie and QT. The former was riding on the back of his new ‘Lemonade’/‘Hard’ single, as well as his involvement with A. G. Cook in producing the new energy elixir-focused project.
QT’s debut single ‘Hey QT’ was performed, alongside an extensive narrative about a “stimulating club sensation”. Performance art to the extreme, the song itself was mimed.
Sophie’s half an hour-plus set provides something truly special - the London producer showcased previously unheard material too. He performed the set in drag.
Watch both sets below.
