Watch: Yeasayer Share ‘Glass Of The Microscope’ Video

Secretly Canadian signings become real-life scientists in their new video.

Yeasayer

could be considered in some corners as scientists of sound, a group tripping over false experiments in order to find the musical equivalent of a new element in the periodic table. Or something.

Their video for the blissed-out highlight on ‘Fragrant World’, ‘Glass Of The Microscope’, shows the Secretly Canadian signings exploring a real-life research wing of Leiden University, the location of the world’s first microscope. Antoine van Leeuwenhoek discovered the first version back in the 1600s. Things have - you could imagine - modernised a fair bit since then, and Yeasayer’s latest video is a futuristic glimpse into science geekery, that eventually develops into a trippy, effect-boosted trip.

Watch Yeasayer’s ‘Glass Of The Microscope’ video below - their remix of Charli XCX’s ‘SuperLove’ also came out today.
