Yeasayer Announce New Album ‘Fragrant World’
They will release their third effort ‘Fragrant World’ on the 21st August through Secretly Canadian.
Yeasayer have announced details of their forthcoming album ‘Fragrant World’.
The band have been leaving clues as to their next release for a while now - like unexpected messages on their website announcing tour dates - but it’s within the new issue of Under The Radar magazine that the band have unveiled some more solid details.
They will release their third effort ‘Fragrant World’ - the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Odd Blood’ - on the 21st August through Secretly Canadian.
The tracklisting for their third effort looks something like this:

Yeasayer’s co-frontman/multi-instrumentalist Anand Wilder told the magazine: “We definitely try to capture the schizophrenia of what it’s like to be alive today.”
The Brooklyn band will play the following dates throughout the US in June, followed by stops off in Europe for festivals in July and August, including a visit to the UK for Latitude:
