LA Priest shares ‘Lady’s In Trouble With The Law’
Hook-stuffed track appears on debut album ‘Inji’.
Sam Dust aka LA Priest has unveiled a new song from his forthcoming debut album, ‘Inji’.
‘Lady’s in Trouble With The Law’ is a dose of swaggering pop, complete with milky synths and funk guitar lines. “Now I’m low, I feel high,” sings the former Late of the Pier frontman, an enticing mix of juxtapositions.
Alongside the new track, Dust has announced plans to showcase a “symposium” called “Learning to Love”. It will take place at Birkbeck University on 23rd June, hosted by guest speaker Eric Swineblade. A blurb reads: “In keeping with the theme the event will focus on stimulating creative and innovative thoughts related to the western world’s crisis of love in the twenty-first century as we ask ourselves “what is love?” and “how do I get some of that?”. Debut album ‘Inji’ is out 29th June via Domino - pre-order here.
