The National, Haim, Metronomy To Play First BBC 6 Music Festival

Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse is set to play host to over 30 artists this February.

The National, Haim, Metronomy To Play First BBC 6 Music Festival

has announced its first ever festival, a two-day event taking place in Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse at the end of February 2014.

Headliners come in the form of The National, LA sisters Haim and the returning Metronomy, with Joseph Mount releasing his ‘Love Letters’ album next month.

So far - with acts being announced throughout the day - Drenge and James Blake, Jimi Goodwin, Luke Sital Singh and Bombay Bicycle Club and Wild Beasts and Lykke Li, Kelis, Kiran Leonard and The Horrors are the latest acts to be confirmed for the festival.

Jake Bugg, The Staves and Damon Albarn complete the bill.

Tickets are available from midday on Friday 24th January.

BBC 6 Music’s first festival takes place from 28th February-1st March. Information on how to get tickets can be found here.

30 artists are set to be confirmed for the festival.
