The Strokes Confirmed For Free SXSW Show, Online Broadcast
The band haven’t played SXSW since 2001.

There were already rumours The Strokes were set to play SXSW, and now they’re rumours no more.
The band will take to the Austin, Texas festival on March 17th to play the Auditorium Shores Stage (at Lady Bird Lake). The show will be free and open to the public, with Levi’s also providing footage of the show online a day after the event. The band haven’t played SXSW since 2001.
The Strokes’ new album ‘Angles’ is set for release on March 21st.
