Watch: Damon Albarn Shares ‘Lonely Press Play’ Video

Jet-setter by trade Damon Albarn has shared the second song from his ‘Everyday Robots’ solo record. ‘Lonely Press Play’ first had an airing acoustically at Sundance Festival, then on Dermot O’ Leary’s Radio 2 show.

Here’s the Richard Russell produced recording, shuffling percussion sprinkled on top of Damon’s customary longing. The song arrives alongside a travel-focused video that spends half its time up in the air. Checking in at Tokyo, Brighton Beach, it’s a few hundred days in the life of one very famous musician who should be spending more time holed up in a studio thankyou very much.
