Explore the seaside with Nilüfer Yanya in her ‘Baby Luv’ video

Nilüfer Yanya shared new single ‘Baby Luv’ at the end of last month, and the track now has a brilliant new video.

In the new clip, the West London singer heads to the seaside for a day out on a lilo in the sea (complete with a blow-up guitar), in the bowling alley, and on the slot machines. No fish and chips though, disappointingly.

‘Baby Luv’ is the follow-up to this year’s ‘Plant Feed’ EP, and maybe the singer’s most promising step yet. Fast, intense guitar work is backed up by a creeping, subtle synth backing and the track’s repeated refrain of “do you like pain?”, contrasting the almost effortless swagger of the likes of ‘Plant Feed’ track ‘Golden Cage’ with her most visceral emotion yet.

Yanya heads out on a short run of UK shows next week, beginning with a sold-out London date at Omeara on the 16th before playing Bristol and Brighton the following nights.
