Pond share new Kevin Parker-produced single ‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’
The Perth psych-heads release their new album early next year.
Perth psych-heads, and Tame Impala’s best pals Pond have announced plans for their first album since 2015’s ‘Man It Feels Like Space Again’. They’ve returned with ‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’ - a galactic space jam produced by none other than Kevin Parker. Their new album is slated for release in early 2017.
It’s a wonder they’ve found the time, really. Our Kev’s been a busy man; producing songs for Lady Gaga, and reforming his old band Mink Mussel Creek. Earlier this year, Pond’s Nick Allbrook released a solo album, ‘Pure Gardiya’, and his bandmate Cameron Avery just announced his own solo album, too. It’s all go, basically.
Not that this is anything new for either Tame Impala or Pond - between them, they have millions of side-projects. Read our handy guide to the lot here.
