Rae’s also announced a new UK tour.
After releasing ‘Do It’ and announcing her new album ‘Someone Out There’ (due out on 2nd February 2018 through Atlantic), Rae Morris has got a new video for her single ‘Atletico’.
The clip sees her wandering around New Orleans, where she makes friends with some drag queens and a snake charmer, as well as having a bit of a dance with a guy in a banana suit. It’s as effervescent as the track itself.
Speaking of the video, Rae said: “In this video I’m a solo soul-searcher. New Orleans was the perfect place for this video because it’s such a joyous city with the most infectious energy. That’s exactly what Atletico is about – having too much energy and not knowing what to do with it”.
Rae’s also announced a new tour of the UK, which will take place in March! Kicking off at the O2 Academy in Newcastle, she’ll head to Glasgow, Manchester, Portsmouth, Oxford, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol and Brighton before rounding off at London’s Heaven. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday 8th December.
