Self Esteem announces new ‘Cuddles Please’ EP
The new four-track record will contain reworking of tracks from her debut album ‘Compliments Please’.
Following the release of her debut album ‘Compliments Please’ back in March last year, Self Esteem has announced a brand new EP with three special alternative versions of tracks from the LP.
Set for release on 1st May, the ‘Cuddles Please’ EP will include reworkings of ‘Favourite Problem’, ‘The Best’ and ‘In Time’, alongside a cover of Alex Cameron’s ‘Miami Memory’. And, Sheffield-based choir Neighbourhood Voices are hopping on the tracks too!
“After doing a run of special stripped back shows, I thought it would be nice to record some of the songs that work best in that format,” Rebecca (aka Self Esteem) explains. “I really love to sing the songs in their birthday suits. Neighbourhood Voices had been learning some of the songs anyway and suggested singing with me live and of course I jumped at the chance to have 30 women singing my feelings with me.“
See the full track list and listen to the first track, ‘Favourite Problem’, below.
