Spector, JAWS and more at #STANDFORSOMETHING London
See the bands performing at the DIY and Dr. Martens gig.
Last weekend witnessed the DIY x Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING arriving in the capital. London’s Birthdays hosted a gigantic triple-bill of exciting bands, with Spector topping proceedings by headlining the intimate Dalston haunt.
Their set was preceded by a sharp, excitable opening performance from Strummerville alumni Gaoler’s Daughter. They were quickly followed by Birmingham group JAWS, who raced through a promising bundling together of all their best tracks to date, hinting at big things to come.
Fred MacPherson and co took to the stage to close the night with a triumphant show, ‘Chevy Thunder’ making an appearance alongside new song ‘Decade of Decay’.
