Sufjan Stevens is sharing a new track, ‘Exploding Whale’, running separate to the release of his latest album ‘Carrie & Lowell’.
The track features on a tour 7” that he’s been selling at recent shows. It contains the lyric “embrace the epic fail of my exploded whale,” and it’s a glitchy piece of electronic-led folk that points more heavily to his previous LP ‘The Age of Adz’.
This year’s End of the Road festival will see Sufjan Stevens’ only festival set of the year - he’ll play on 6th September.
