Tame Impala announce Glasgow Barrowland show this September
The new date has been added to the group’s pre-Bestival plans.
Tame Impala have announced that they will play at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom in September. The news follows confirmation of a Bestival warm-up performance at Liverpool Olympia on 9th September, with the new Glasgow date added for the day before (8th September).
Tame Impala are expected to release their third album this year, the follow up to 2012’s ‘Lonerism’. In January, a leaked email from the band’s management stated that the new album will be released in 2015.
Their headlining shows are as follows.
SEPTEMBER
08 Barrowland, Glasgow
09 Olympia, Liverpool
Pond frontman Nicholas Allbrook will be taking on the supporting slots during both of Tame Impala’s warm up dates. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday (6th March) at 9am via Seetickets.
