The Strokes In The Studio For Quick ‘Angles’ Follow Up?
You wait ages for one Strokes album, and then two come along at once. Or at least, that might be the case.

You wait ages for one Strokes album, and then two come along at once. Or at least, that might be the case.
The band, who recorded recent record ‘Angles’ largely without singer Julian Casablancas, don’t seem too happy with how things went last time around. Speaking to Pitchfork, guitarist Nick Valensi revealed ‘I won’t do the next album we make like this. No way. It was awful— just awful… The best thing we can do right now is put out another one really quick.’
And that might be very quick indeed. Bassist Nikolai Fraiture tweeted: ‘Super excited to go in to the studio today and work on some new ideas!’
He later confirmed those ideas were indeed for The Strokes.
So, another record so quickly after ‘Angles’. High hopes?
