Last night (11th August), Alabama Shakes played one of the standout telly sets in recent memory with a performance on Conan.
Every speck of energy, heartbreak and chaos from second album ‘Sound & Color’ was replicated, as the band ran through renditions of ‘Gimme All Your Love’ and ‘Future People’. Always centre-stage, Brittany Howard steals the show, but there’s also a breathless change of pace in the musicianship.
