Watch footage of The Avalanches’ first full band show back
The band played at Splendour In The Grass festival in Australia.
The Avalanches played their first full band show in over a decade at Australia’s Splendour in the Grass festival last night (24th July).
The band had played a series of European gigs, including Primavera Sound and Field Day, but only as DJ sets. Yesterday brought the full bonanza, and footage of the gig has appeared online.
The band blamed “visa fuckups” for their initial live comeback, which was criticised by many. Full band shows the world over are expected for the rest of the year.
Watch footage of yesterday’s gig below.
