The band and host look back to their 90s ‘Mumtown’ days.
Mumford & Sons were US TV host Jimmy Kimmel’s musical guest last night - and while we’re sure they were there to peddle ‘Wilder Mind’ and the songs it contains - they also joined in on a skit.
The plot is this: back in the 90s Jimmy and Mumford & Sons were in a boyband called ‘Mumtown’. Jimmy wasn’t allowed to sing. They all had outfits so bad Justin Timberlake and friends would wince at. Then Winston discovers the banjo…
