Mini Mansions showcase new track ‘Vertigo’ featuring Alex Turner
The latest song to be taken from ‘The Great Pretenders’ comes complete with vocals from the Arctic Monkeys frontman.
In the lead up to the release of their new album ‘The Great Pretenders’, Mini Mansions have unveiled another new track.
Having already showcased the likes of ‘Death Is A Girl’, ‘Any Emotions’ and ‘Freakout!’, the trio have now revealed ‘Vertigo’, as featuring none other than Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.
“I was gonna sing [Alex’s part] at one point,” the band’s Michael Shuman told DIY, after the man himself joined them on stage at their London headlining show, “when we first started thinking of the song, but it didn’t really seem right. Then Alex just happened to be there when we were talking through the track and it was just like, ‘Oh, there you are!’ and that was it. It was very natural.”
‘Vertigo’ gets taken from the band’s forthcoming second album, ‘The Great Pretenders’, which is due for release on 23rd March.
