Sleater-Kinney take ‘Surface Envy’ to Conan
The trio showcased another cut from their ‘No Cities To Love’ on late night US television.
Having already had a good chinwag on the subject of their reunion with Carrie Brownstein (and her fellow Portlandia star Fred Armisen), Conan O’Brien decided to invite the whole of Sleater-Kinney to appear on the most recent edition of his late night show, Conan.
Returning to the stage in support of their newly-released ‘No Cities to Love’, the band performed a blistering rendition of ‘Surface Envy’.
Their latest late night TV appearance (they were on The Late Show with David Letterman to showcase ‘A New Wave’ just a few days ago now) follows on from the release of their star-studded video for the album’s title track ‘No Cities to Love’.
‘No Cities to Love’ is out now through Sub Pop and the DIY cover stars will be heading out on the road in Europe later this year.
