Sufjan Stevens unveils ‘Should Have Known Better’ track
Personal take is lifted from the new album ‘Carrie & Lowell’.
Sufjan Stevens has unveiled ‘Should Have Known Better’, a stark and beautiful take from his new album ‘Carrie & Lowell’.
Intensely personal, the song follows on from ‘No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross’ in previewing the LP, out 30th March on Sufjan’s own Asthmatic Kitty Records.
From tales of being left alone “in the video store” to rediscovering a family trail, it’s a self-explanatory dose of Sufjan’s most upfront songwriting to date.
