Bat For Lashes unveils Son Lux cover, ‘Plan the Escape’

Bat For Lashes has unveiled new material with ‘Plan the Escape’, a new Son Lux cover that appears on ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’, with Lorde curating the tracklist.

The dark and gloomy piece takes on a Son Lux track from the 2013 album ‘Lanterns’ - Lorde is one of their biggest fans. It follows on from Bat For Lashes’ own ‘The Haunted Man’, with a new LP expected for 2015.

Earlier this year, Bat For Lashes shared a new standalone track, ’ Skin Song’ - it features on a 2015 compilation, ‘Body of Songs’.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ soundtrack is out 18th November. So far we’ve heard ‘Kingdom’, a Lorde, Pusha T, Q-Tip and Haim collab, CHVRCHES’ ‘Dead Air’, Charli XCX and Simon Le Bon’s ‘Kingdom’, Lorde’s ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ and a smooth Kanye remix of that track.
