Holly Humberstone collaborates with d4vd on new single ‘Superbloodmoon’

Her debut album, ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’, arrives later this year.

The third track to be shared from her anticipated debut album, ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’, ‘Superbloodmoon’ sees Holly Humberstone team up with US artist d4vd. Inspired by the rare celestial event of a super blood moon - when the Earth’s moon is in a total lunar eclipse and the sky turns red - Holly and d4vd wrote the single in only a couple of hours, singing from the perspectives of two people witnessing the same thing miles apart.

Discussing the track, Holly shares: “I had been a huge fan of d4vd’s work for about a year and was lucky enough to catch him while he was in London. It came pretty naturally as we had both been touring for what seemed like forever, and wanted to write about the feelings that come with leaving your home and the people you love behind. I had the title for the song on my notes, and it just stemmed from there. We wrote about witnessing the same thing from opposite sides of the world and feeling lonely but connected through that experience at the same time.”

The tracklist for ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’ is:

1. Paint My Bedroom Black
