Jack White, Damon Albarn To Play Governors Ball 2014

for an extravagant three-day fest, Damon Albarn and Jack White are amongst the big names announced for New York Governors Ball 2014.

Outkast are headliners, alongside Jack White and Vampire Weekend. The Strokes - who’ll be making their first live appearance since November 2011 - Phoenix, TV on the Radio, Julian Casablancas, James Blake, Disclosure, Interpol, Foster the People, The Kills, Grimes, Spoon, Neko Case, Empire of the Sun, Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, Janelle Monáe, Kurt Vile, Chance the Rapper, and Jenny Lewis are also on the bill.

Joining them is Broken Bells, Sleigh Bells, Washed Out, AlunaGeorge, Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike), Deafheaven, Banks, SKATERS, Wild Belle, Bastille, The Head and the Heart, The Naked and Famous, Fitz and the Tantrums, RJD2, Tanlines, Diarrhea Planet, La Roux, and The Glitch Mob.

Randall’s Island Park hosts the festival on 6th-8th June 2014.
