The festival, which usually takes place in Groningen in The Netherlands, is going full digital for this year’s edition.
This year’s edition of ESNS - formerly known as Eurosonic Noorderslag - gets under way this week, with the new fully-digital festival boasting performances from a slew of brilliant new bands.
Performances from the likes of Jockstrap, Jelani Blackman, The Cool Greenhouse, Katy J Pearson, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and many more will be streamed as part of the four-day Dutch festival, which begins today (Wednesday 13th January) and runs through until Saturday evening.
Other acts set to appear include Holly Humberstone, NewDad, Personal Trainer, Lava La Rue and EUT. For the full timetable of performances - which will be accessible online for free - head here.
There’ll also be a full conference schedule, featuring keynote talks, panel discussions and much more, open to delegates. The conference schedule includes a talk with Dua Lipa’s manager Wendy Ong.
Plus, there’s the annual Music Moves Europe Talent Awards, which takes place on Friday 15th January. Squid, Sassy 009, Julia Bardo and Inhaler are just some of the 16 acts nominated for the awards, which aim to celebrate “emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow.”
